Just A Scrappin' Vintage Project

This week at Just A Scrappin', the theme is vintage. Here is my project-

This was actually really easy-all paper is the Colorbok Rosewood paper stack (Wal-Mart). I used my Tim Holtz distressing tool to fray all edges of each paper. The image is from The Graphics Fairy, where you can find the most awesome images! I printed this rose out on white cardstock, and used a Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pen to outline and highlight the gorgeous rose & leaves. I then finished the card off with American Crafts dark red sheer ribbon. I'm leaving this blank for now, as I'll stamp a sentiment inside for whatever occasion I need it for.

Thanks for looking!

UPDATE: This card is featured at The Graphics Fairy here!

Just a Scrappin Circle Card Challenge

This week at Just a Scrappin, we have a Circle Card Challenge! Here is my card-

This was made using an oldie, but a goodie, Cricut cartridge Accent Essentials. It was accent #46 (so it's button 46). The leaves are accent #42 cut at 2". The sentiment layer is using the shadow, and the green polka dot is the shift image. I joined them together with a brad hidden under the orange layer I pop dotted to give more dimension. The sentiment is from Unity Stamps, and all paper is out of the scrap file.

We've been having gorgeous 75 degree weather, now we're in for rain through the weekend. I can't wait until the rain stops!

I'm also entering this at BBTB2 for their Spring Flowers Challenge.
